itinerary

Day 1 : Marrakech – High Atlas – Telouat Kasbah – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades.

On the first day of the 4 days desert tour from Marrakech to the Sahara desert, our driver will meet you at your accommodation in Marrakech. After that you will hit the road to Through the High Atlas Mountains, passing by Tizi ‘n’ Tichka pass (2260m).

We will make sure to stop at every interesting spot to enjoy and see the beauty of these mountains. Next, we will visit an Argan competitive to see how local women make the Argan oil in the traditional way. After passing by several Berber villages, we will get to kasbah ait Benhaddou.

The last-mentioned is the most famous fortified village in Morocco. Not mention that is one of the world’s heritage sites of Unesco. Also, it was a house of the Glaoui family. After visiting the Kasbah, we will have lunch at ait Benhaddou. Next, we will drive to Ouarzazate.

The latter is known as the Hollywood city. The drive continues through the “Road of the thousand Kasbahs”. We will make one last stop at the valley of roses at. After that, we stay overnight at Hotel/Riad in Dades gorges.

Day 2: Dades – Tinghir – Merzouga Desert – Camel ride and night in the Berber tent.

After breakfast, our first stop will be in Tinerhir (Tinghir). The later is where will see with a vast palm grove. Also, we will explore it’s hug canyons. Before arriving at Merzouga, our 4 days tour from Marrakech to Sahara desert passes through Erfoud and Rissani.

Next, you will have to decide to take the camel, or 4×4 car to be back to Merzouga. It is where you will meet with your driver and start your day trip to Ouarzazate. Our first stop of the day will be in Risani.

We are going to visit a very traditional Market, only used by locals. Here you will learn how the locals do the commerce. After that, we will pass by several villages until we arrive at Nkob, where we will have lunch.

The drive continues through the Draa valley until we get to Ouarzazate. Not to mention that we will make some stops to enjoy the valley. Also, to see the spectacular Small Atlas mountains.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Palm Groves of Skoura – High Atlas – Marrakech

On the last day of the 4 days Sahara desert tour from Marrakech, we will visit all the sightseeing of Ouarzazate. After that, we drive through the Telouet valley until we get to The Kasbah Telouet.

After visiting the Kasbah, we will cross the high Atlas to get to Marrakech our final destination of the day. We will arrive earlier, so you can have time to relax and explore Marrakech more.
