itinerary
The first day is from Marrakesh to Ouarzazate:
We will depart in the morning after you have breakfast and drive to Ouarzazate. Before we get to Ouarzazate we will visit some interesting places on the road. First, we will cross through the Atlas Mountains where we are going to stop for a while so that you have some fresh air and witness the beauty of the mountains and the magic of nature.
Second, we will resume driving toward the kasbah of Telouet. It is one of the most impressive Kasbahs. Also, it is only twenty minutes from the Tizi Tichka pass. This kasbah is known for its history and past, as it used to be the seat of the El glaoui family. Also, we will visit the popular Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou that is known for its traditional architecture and captivating landscapes. Finally, when we reach Ouarzazate the city of the film industry we are going to stay there overnight at the hotel until morning.
On The second day:
We are going to wake up and visit the Kasbah of Taourirt. The kasbah was originally built in the 10th century and was owned by the El Glaoui clan. A family that had a powerful stronghold of one of Morocco’s most significant southern caravan routes to west Africa. Afterward, we are going to drive to Sakura. It is a town in Ouarzazate Province.
Skoura is known for its Kasbah named Amridil. The kasbah was built in the 17th century by the Nassiri family. Which is still takes care of it to this day. The living museum there offers visitors a lot of opportunities to know about how people lived there in the Kasbah 300 years ago. Moreover, we will also visit the Kalaat M’gouna which is 140 km away from Ouarzazate. It is where the charm of the valley of roses makes it worth visiting. And then we are going to visit Dades canyons and valleys. Also, spend the night there in Boumalne Dades which is a small town.
On The third day:
We are going to wake up in the morning and drive to Tinghir a small city known for its palm trees and enchanting sceneries, and then we are going to head to the gorge of Toudra and see the canyons and rocks. Honestly, the canyons of Toudra are a beautiful place to visit. afterward, we will visit Tinghir, and take some wonderful photos. After a while, we are going to move along toward the Sahara desert to see the beauty of the sand and the Saharan atmosphere.
Most importantly, when we arrive in there you will ride on camels backs, and they will take you to the camps where you will sleep in well-equipped tents and then head up to see the sand dunes and the sunset. In addition, at night you will see how staff and listeners huddle close to the fire and listen to the Saharan music being played with drums, and if you like stargazing it’s an opportunity that you should not miss while in the desert. honestly, those moments are enjoyable, and I’m sure you’ll find it very interesting. We are going to spend that night there in the desert and when wake up in the morning a new adventure will be out there waiting up for us.
On the fourth day:
We are going to wake up for the sunrise. Also, to have breakfast and ride on our 4 by 4 car to see Erg Chebbi. It is a bunch of large sand dune formed by the windblown sand of the desert. Furthermore, we are going to see the oasis and the beauty of its palm trees. then, we will visit nomads who live in the desert in a way that is traditional, simple and impressive. Afterward, we are going to visit one village named Khamliya. It is known for the black people from South Africa who, interestingly, play their wonderful music known as Gnaoua music. At night we’ll escort you to your hotel.
The fifth day will be a driving from the desert to Fes:
On the way there we are going to pass through many villages, cities and worth visiting places. Firstly, we are going to drive toward Midelt. But before we arrive there, we’ll pass through the Atlas Mountains where we are going to stop for a while so that you have some fresh air. Also, take some photos to remind you of your visit to Morocco. When we arrive in Midelt that is known for its delicious cuisine and many restaurants, as it is situated in the middle of the main roads in Morocco.
We are going to stop for lunch, and then we are going to move on toward the Forests of the Atlas mountains. More specifically, near the city of Azrou that is situated in a beautiful spot right among Atlas mountains. Not only, that but we are also going to stop for some time in the forest. So that you see how wonderful the place is and take some photos of the monkeys that are running and clinging to trees. Last but not least, we are going to pass by the beautiful city of Ifran. It is only a few miles away from Azrou. Ifran is known worldwide with its snowy weather, especially in wintertime. Also, it referred to as the little Switzerland of Africa. When we arrive in the city of fez we are going to take you to your hotel.
