itinerary
On the first day of our journey
We are going to pick you up at the hotel in Tangier. Our first destination will be Chefchaouen. It is known as Chaouen or the pearl of the northern part of Morocco. It is distinguished by its fascinating blue houses and alleyways which attract many visitors worldwide. Especially those who enjoy taking pictures. First, we are going to visit the Waterfalls of Akchour which are one of the most stunning waterfalls in Morocco. thanks to their beauty and the attractiveness of the Atmosphere there. Not only that, we are going to see the Rif Mountains, the spectacular destination of hikers and mountain lovers.
You can hike in the Rif mountains and admire the town from above with its panoramic views. Last but not least, we are going to pay a short visit and take some photos near the popular mosque of Chefchaouen. Which is unsurprisingly, popular with tourists. Perhaps thanks to its minaret, location and the beautiful echoes of the five call to prayer sound that makes it even more admirable. Later in the day, we are going to head down to Fez city. It is one of the four imperial cities of Morocco with a bunch of lovely places to see before we call it a night at the hotel.
On the second day
We are going to leave for the desert in the morning, On the way, we’ll stop by some interesting places such as Ifran, The city that is mostly referred to as the little the Switzerland of Africa. Its beautiful architecture and the snow that falls there during winter time which makes it even more attractive. After a while, we’ll reach the forest of Azrou where you’ll be able to see Barbary apes. They are a type of monkeys that are found in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco? After that, we are going to drive toward Midelt where we are going to stop for lunch.
Then carry on driving toward the desert, but before we arrive in the desert, There will be some stops for photos and fresh air, particularly In Ziz Canyon and some small Berber villages nearby. In addition to that, we are going to stop in Erfoud city which is actually known for fossils and some traditional items in case you are interested. After a few miles, we are going to arrive in the desert. It is where you will get to see the beautiful sand dunes on a camel back, and spend a wonderful night in the desert camp. At night you can either gaze at the stunning stars or listen to Berber music being played by the staff of the camp where you will be staying at for the night.
On the third day
We are going to make sure you get up to see the captivating view of the sunrise among the golden sand dunes. After we come back to the camp. Then we are going to drive toward one small Town named Rissani. It is actually an attractive town that is known for its traditional souk. Also, its architecture that dates back to the old generations. Also, we are going to drive through some small villages and towns of Tfilalt, and continue toward Tinghir.
This is a small town on the main road to Marrakesh, not only that but it also has a lot to offer its visitor. Mainly, it has a lot of Palm trees, Gorges, and valleys such as Todgha Valley that pleases visitors thanks to its beauty and Atmosphere. Later in the day, we are going to drive through the Dades valley and spend the night in Boumalne Dades.
On the fourth and last day of our journey
We are going to set out and drive to Marrakesh. But on the way, we are going to stop by some places as we continue our travel to Marrakesh. We are going to visit the valley of roses in Kelaat Megonna. Also, visit some places in Skoura that are worth seeing. In addition to that, we are going to drive toward Ouarzazate, the small Hollywood of Morocco. Ouarzazate is the place where the film industry takes place in Morocco.
Actually certain movies which were either partially or completely directed there in Ouarzazate such as Gladiator, the games of throne, etc.… After that we are going to carry on driving to the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. It is only a few miles away from Ouarzazate. It is a popular place and an interesting one to visit when you travel to Marrakesh. Afterward, we are going to pass through the high Atlas Mountains and see high mountains. Also their massive rocks, and nomads herding cattle before we eventually arrive in Marrakesh city.
